For the prototype I designed two circuits, the receiver and transmitter circuit, in Eagle. They are optimized for the production with the Modela MDX 20. Therefore they are one layer and use 1206 SMD package size. The machinable BCB material is FR1 (.062).
The cost per PCB manufactured from the online service would be 2.7$ for 30 pieces for this design.
The motor creates substantial noise in the power line. I left space for multiple, additional capacitors. This design is optimized for debugging and not optimized for the product. In the actual product only components that are essential will be added to this board. As well the micro controller will have a smaller package and I am going to use SMD LEDs.
