As I wait for my PCBs to arrive and I model the electronics package, I thought it would be fun to get a handle on the ‘look’ of my product in packaging… I’m thinking of a simple folded paper box glued on one edge by hand. The boxes require only four cuts and will be letterpress printed, including the scores for folding. A slightly labor-intensive process, but I think a nice counterpoint to the fact that the object inside is precisely not hand-produced.

Getting closer to figuring out the mood of the packaging, but still not quite there.

The box will be about the size of a business card, folded as a triangle, and glued on one edge.

The simple package will be easy to open and suggest an attitude about the product inside.
