The prototype

My first prototype consisty of two parts: the remote control and the flying balloon. The wireless communication between both parts uses infrared communication. This tutorial gives instructions how to create IR communication on the Arduino platform.

Parts for remote controller:

• IR emitter
• pieo vibration sensor
• voltage regulator circuit
• Arduino UNO programming platform

Parts for the wings:

• thin plastic cone
• tape
• plastic sheet with holes (receicled wings of the AirSwimmer)
• carbon fiber rods

Parts for receiver and motor controller:

• pico servo motor
• IR receiver
• Arduino pro mini
• Lithium Ion Battery
