Modular, Responsive, Kinetic… Jewelry
I would like to design and fabricate a series of components that could be linked together to create personalized jewelry. I have previously designed an elegant link system that I would like to develop further with integrated electronics.
I will consider multi-sensory modules in the design of this system:
- Light
- Sound
- Scent
- Vibration
- Temperature
- Touch
- Pressure
I also like the idea of allowing additions to the system that add to the customization (either crafted by the user or added as parts – ex. Lego flowers)
Some sketches/collages that I previously thought of… these are ideas for multi-sensory applications.

Another idea is to incorporate part of my lab research into the project. Design for a lightweight, portable, and comprehensive home food production system. I am working on a prototype currently for the Boston public school system. I would work on developing the sensors and package for this project.
Great – try to make it as customizable as possible
This might be a good technical reference for making the atomizer:
